 Germany has set a benchmark for accreditation, and Universities in Germany have no tuition fees. Students have multiple career options after completing their studies. Students need to know that only public Universities in Germany are tuition-free. Certain nominal charges along with living expenses have to be managed by the students.  

Based on the country of origin, students can also apply for scholarships that are awarded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). DAAD has a scholarship database where students can search for options that meet their needs.

POST COVID-19 GUIDELINES 

The German Ministry of Foreign Affairs has taken out guidelines for international students wanting to study in Germany. 

In their most recent notice, students who come from abroad and who are from high-risk countries will have to remain in self-isolation or quarantine for 14 days on arrival. 

Students must take a mandatory test for SARS CoV-2 48 hours or less before they depart from the country of origin.

India is currently listed as one of the high-risk countries hence making the Covid-19 test mandatory for students.
